Welcome!

mage Forced into exile, the Corynthian Mages land on a forsaken island, Kaliend, where they are welcomed as saviors by the natives believing that they'll bring back an age of wealth and glory. Soon internal disputes between Mages will however kindle a war without mercy. To prevent the whole situation from turning into total chaos, an ancient custom is brought back to life, forcing the Mages to stop using magic outside of specially designed arenas until one of them is designed as a leader. The struggle has begun, the factions raise their champions to emerge victorious and change the fate of Kaliend.

Rūnes MMORPG is a massively multiplayer online game set in the fantasy world of Faera. Players incarnate Mages suspected of treason and exiled. Scattered all over the world, they finally gather on the island of Kaliend where they will have to find a way to get their past glory back. But the way will be full of hardships and conflict, and only the most determinate could hope to offer the Mages a better future.

To become the greatest, players will have to confront to each other during heated up battles that will test their dexterity and rapidity, but also their wit if they hope to be victorious and ascend to legend.

Update 0.12 is coming!

Hi!

While the next update is arriving, here is an overview of the new opportunities offered by Rūnes MMORPG - Battle for the Dryanium! The team is currently working on all fronts to prepare this version, but that's not all. Before we submit the release date and the contents of this update, here's some information from the team.

First, we wish to thank all beta testers for their feedback and their determination to track down bugs. Thank you everyone!

Secondly, we will be at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and at the Game Developer Conference in San Francisco, please do not hesitate to contact us if you want to meet us.

An android BarCamp should be held in Bordeaux, this is an opportunity to meet us (in one of many pleasant pubs in town).

Finally, a tournament will be held in the coming days, keep in touch! Now, do talk about the 0.12 version of Rūnes MMORPG.

You can meet us on our forum, not only to help us by reporting bugs but also to share your comments and views on Rūnes and its gameplay. Your user experience is precious! A few words for the attention of the lost Beta-testers

Participate in a game beta-test is a critical and exciting experience, yet with it comes great responsibility for the user. Let's imagine that a game is an egg. Then the Alpha release would be the time of fertilization where the most essential features are implemented. The Beta will then check that the skeleton of its features are reliable enough. When the core game has been validated by players, we may proceed towards more and more interesting features. However, without feedback from the users, quality is impossible. From our point of view, there is no pleasure taken, even in developing if no exchange is permitted.
